I attended a screening of the movie Won’t Back Down hosted by The Moms and One 2 One Network last week. Some of the fabulous actors: Maggie Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis, Rosie Perez, and Holly Hunter. The movie is about two determined mothers, one a teacher who look to transform their children’s failing inner city school. They face a great deal of struggles from the city and they risk everything to make a difference in the education and future of their children. This must have been the most powerful and inspiring movies I’ve ever seen and still cannot thinking about it since viewing it. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the entire theatre. After the movie we were able to have a Q&A with Maggie Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis, Rosie Perez, and director Daniel Barnz. A definite must go see! In theaters September 28th!!!
