Wow, I cannot believe today is already Friday. What a week it has been with blogger events, Stella&Dot parties, friends in town, and this weekend is just as insane. I realized that not only do I need to write appointments down in my planner, but I also have to start carrying my planner around with me. I dropped Ry off at school this Wednesday and raced to a sample sale with my favs (Wovenplay, Atsuyo et Akiko, Tamar Mogendorff, to name a few) only to find out…it’s the following Wednesday. Bummer. But I’m wondering if this Tamar Mogendorff will at the sale? Just adore!

Pasta Pasta

It is extremely important to me that my kids eat well balanced, healthy meals. I would say both of them are pretty good eaters..asparagus anyone. But, I admit there are those days that get extremely busy and there just isn’t enough time to cook. Since you can’t order pizza everyday, I have discovered Barilla all natural microwavable meals ready in 60 seconds. This week I had the opportunity for Executive Chef Lorenzo Boni to prepare a lovely lunch for me and some other amazing bloggers, at Scott Conant’s SCM Culinary suite . I am not a huge pasta person but I really enjoyed my penne with spicy marinara sauce. I was totally impressed when reading the ingredients, as most were in my pantry already- perfect for my kidlets. Overall, it was lovely lunch. Grazie Mille!

Have you ever wondered what to do with all your childs artwork? For me, Ryder is just in school three days a week and still comes home with tons of crafts. I try to save as many as I can and either display them or store them in a memory box. But I have to say, his memory box is starting to explode and he’s only three year old! My friend Tori just sent me the link to Child’s Own. They take your child’s drawing and actually turn it into a custom doll!!! How freak’in cool!! I’m dying over this!! Check some of their creations…

Siella’s first birthday is just around the corner, and boy am I behind. Turn back to Ryder’s first three years ago, and everything was done by now. Still need to decide on favors, food, entertainment, and most importantly her birthday gear. But right at this moment the invites need to get out. I came across this darling shop on Etsy and they had exactly what I wanted…vintage style butterfly theme. And yes, I am well aware of the paperless posts out there but I guess you can call me an old fashion type of girl..there’s just something about getting an invite in the mail. Check out the one I selected for Siella.

Yesterday, I spied these adorable loose fitting giraffe pants on Darling Clementine’s instagram. Oh things we find on social media.. Made from cotton voile, these Nadadelazos ”sarouel” pants imported from Spain are also available in jungle print. I’m diggin these perfect summer pants for both boys and girls and soo ordering these for Siella. I wish they made them in my size!
