I was beyond thrilled and honored when Strut Moms: The Fashionable Mom Show co-founders Denise Albert and Melissa Musen Gerstein asked me to walk in their fashion show. I attended the show last year at Lincoln Center during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and remember leaving the show feeling so inspired afterwards. Strut Moms is a different take on NYFW as its fashionable moms and their kids walking the runway and for a cause. Each model and mom walks for a charity for their choice.
Cottonelle, a sponsor of the show asked if I would become an ambassador of their brand and walk for them as well. I walked for “Make A Wish Foundation”. It is a foundation that is close to my heart. Make A Wish Foundation actually granted a wish for a friend of mine when I was growing up and I will never forget that.

I was so nervous to walk the runway, but have to say once it was over I had this sense of empowerment. It was a truly beyond incredible experience and I was so happy to be a part of it. I was so thankful to have my family and friends were in the audience there to support me!
