On my recent press trip to Riviera Maya Mexico, I didn’t realize that as I was packing, I happened to everything from one of my fav resort-wear designers Ava Sky. From dressy dresses to beach cover-ups, this line straight from Hawaii has you covered in the wardrobe department.
The Ava Sky woman is one that I can truly relate to. She loves to live. She takes the time to smell the ocean and listen to the waves. She is happy with herself and is comfortable in her own skin. She laughs at adversity and cries at sappy movies. She knows who she is, goes for what she wants, and appreciates what she has.
Designers, Lan and Rona are inspired by their lives in Hawaii and travels to other exotic destinations. Ava Sky embodies a sense of relaxation from everyday life. “Whether it’s 5 minutes at the end of the day with a glass of wine or lounging poolside on a Sunday afternoon, they want everyone to enjoy that moment when you can just be.
I have the honor of knowing these designers for just about 10 years. They were the first brand that I represented in my showroom and have always stayed tried and true to their line, with a focus of comfy, carefree, yet gorgeous silhouettes that compliment every type of women. It’s been incredible watching them evolve over the past years, opening up stores in Hawaii and expanding their line.
Their other lines include Fighting Eel , Mini Eel, and Ava Sky Mini! Overall, it was the perfect vacation and clothing to go with the most relaxing weekend ever!
