Sunday Swoon: Annie For Target

With the new version of the classic movie “Annie” hitting theaters this holiday season, Target has done it again and fans will find something special in stores. They have partnered with Renée Ehrlich Kalfus, the film’s costume designer, on a limited-edition collection of apparel and accessories for girls. This past week Siella and I were invited to Target Studios for a special meet and greet with Renee and an exclusive dance party with film’s choreographer Zach Woodlee to preview Annie for Target collection.

Siella and designer Renée Ehrlich Kalfus hit it off immediately when she showed us the wardrobe staples and iconic pieces inspired by the film, including Annie’s red dress and locket. Siella immediately gravitated towards the pink tutu skirt, and Renee styled the rest of her look with a super soft purple sweater, hat, and pearl necklace. Some of my other favorites were black velvet cape, sequin military coat, printed denim, floral romper and a DIY kit with stickers and patches. Let’s not forget super cute accessories like the jewel studded hat and gloves, a mini purse, and backpack.

The collection will be available November 16 at all U.S. Target stores as well as Target.com. And the best part, the designs, are all priced under $30!

Annie has been such a huge part of my childhood, and I am so excited to share this iconic story with my children as I’m sure they will fall in love with the story just like I did. Siella will 100% be wearing her new Annie For Target duds when we preview the movie this holiday season! And I will be the first person in stores trying to to snag this incredible Sequin Military Jacket for both my girls!
